Caring For Carers
At Darul Ilm Birmingham, we recognise the dedication of carers who give so much of themselves each day, often quietly and selflessly. Our Caring for Carers Project offers a safe, welcoming space where you can pause, feel supported, and be cared for in return — because those who care also need care.
If you support a loved one who is ill, disabled, elderly, or facing mental health challenges, you’re not alone. We provide emotional support, guidance, and a calm environment where you can be yourself, connect with others who understand, and take time for your own wellbeing.
We offer:
A safe, non-judgemental space
Emotional support and a listening ear
Opportunities to connect with other carers
Gentle wellbeing and reflective activities
Spiritual encouragement
Opening times:
Weekdays: 4:45 PM – 6:45 PM
Weekends: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Whether you need support, company, or simply a moment of rest, you are always welcome.
Men's Breakfast Club
Our Men’s Breakfast Club is a welcoming space designed to bring men together in a relaxed and friendly environment. Held every two weeks on a Saturday, it offers an opportunity to connect, reflect, and build meaningful relationships over a shared meal.
This is more than just breakfast — it’s a space for community, conversation, and companionship. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, take a break from routine, or simply enjoy good company, you are warmly invited.
We aim to create an atmosphere that is:
Friendly and welcoming
Relaxed and informal
Supportive and community-focused
Open to meaningful conversation and connection
Next Session: Saturday 11th July 2026
Time: 10.30am
Join us as we build brotherhood, strengthen community ties, and enjoy a warm start to the weekend together.
