Darul Ilm’s Director Mufti Mohammed TOsir Miah has strongly condemned the attack on innocent civilians in simultaneous explosions at three churches and other places in Sri Lanka. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and prayed for a speedy recovery of those injured.

“attacks on religious places and during religious festivals whether they are in Colombo or in Christchurch mosque are truly appalling and are being perpetrated with intention to create havoc and anarchy at international level.”

Mufti Tosir Miah pointed out these terrorist attacks are another grim reminder of the fact that these are not only posing threat to the entire humanity but they are against all religions. it seems that terrorists are fond of killing religious persons and worshippers.

Mufti Tosir invites leaders of all religions and world powerful establishments to stand united against terrorism. He maintains that therte is a need to identify common threats and their causes and fight against them collaborately

Mufti Tosir conveys heartfelt condolences on behalf of Darul Ilm’s teachers and students to the President, Prime Minister and people of Sri Lanka
