Girls Youth Club
Our youth are the future of Islam and we believe it is so so important that they grow up with the love of the religion in their hearts, they want to become a better person and contribute to society, and the passion to leave a legacy behind.

In many institutes, however, we see that youth activities are reserved only for boys. Not on our watch! At Darul Ilm Birmingham, we strongly believe everyone matters and we leave no one behind. Our ‘Girls Youth Club’ segment is dedicated to all young girls and females who would like to dive into enjoyable evenings of fun, laughter and (don’t forget) food! We have many fun activities going on like charity bakes, quizzes, games, movie nights and much more!
The light-hearted, amusing atmosphere, combined with inspirational speeches and reminders, make our Girls Youth Club one to not be forgotten. Don’t miss out on the fun. Call us on 07913 238 026 or email us at info@darul-ilm.co.uk
Befriending Circles and Reminders
Our befriending circles work to address loneliness and transform the lives of people with various needs, whether you are new to the area, a new Muslim, or you just want to make friends with people on the Deen – Everybody is welcome.
Narrated Abu-Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him); ‘Allah’s Messenger (May Allah exalt his mention and protect him from imperfection) said: “All Muslims are brothers. A Muslim does not wrong his fellow Muslim, desert him, or despise him. Piety is found here – (pointing three times to his chest) – despising one’s Muslim brother is enough evil for any man to do. Every Muslim’s blood, property and honour are unlawful to be violated by another Muslim.” (At-Tirmidhi).
Our befriending circles encourage friendships and provide a social platform and a safe space so that those who are going through a rough patch or are lonely can benefit as much as everyone else. We passionately believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to have and make friends. We do manage many events for everyone with severe and multiple needs and also for younger people who are in the transitional stages of their lives.
Monthly Outings and Holiday Play Scheme
We, as an institution, organise monthly outings for the wider community. Sometimes it’s nice just to have a change of scenery and visit new places or do things you’ve never done before. This is specifically for our women.During the holidays there are also a variety of activities and trips for children. In the summer we also run a summer school with various activities such as sports days, archery sessions, horse riding, boat rides and picnics. The outings and schemes are run by enthusiastic and passionate staff who aim to provide fun and challenging activities in a safe environment.

Free Counselling
The Prophet (saw) said, “Never is a believer stricken with a discomfort, illness, anxiety, grief, mental worry or even the pricking of a thorn but Allah will expiate his sins on account of his patience.”

We all have ups and downs in life and sometimes all we need is that extra bit of support or that listening ear to get us through our tough times. Some of us are tested in such a way that we feel we are drowning while we are alive and that there’s no hope. If you are going through a tough time and you need someone to talk to, then we want to let you know that yes, we are here. Our counselling sessions are free and are by appointment only every Wednesday at 10 am by Alimah Rina.
Our professional counselling services are still operating and you can choose to have phone counselling or face to face counselling.
Please fill in the following form:
Our counselling sessions are only for women at the moment
Charity Events
Darul Ilm Birmingham takes pride in hosting a range of charity events throughout the year such as our much loved BBQs and Fun Days
