The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Such a person who recites the Qur’an and masters it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven). And such a person exerts himself to learn the Qur’an by heart, and recites it with great difficulty, will have a double reward.”

Come and fulfill the obligation of reciting the Quran with the correct pronunciation in the Arabic language! This course is for beginners and for those who may have dabbled a little with classical Arabic in the past. The Tajweed course is designed with adults in mind so don’t let age put you off as your efforts and hard work are not missed at all by Allah.

 The Quran is ‘matlu’, meaning it is to be read with certain rules otherwise known as ‘Tajweed rules’. For example, prolongation, echoing sounds, short-vowels etc. It is of great importance to be able to apply these rules in order to fulfill one’s daily obligations as one’s salah could be void by reading the Quran incorrectly.
