Overview: This course is designed to specialise and attain perfection in the seven methods of Quranic recitation as it was revealed to the prophet S.A.W., with continuous Sanad (Chain of narration) connected to Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
Course Outline:
Students will learn Tajweed and Qiraat.
After reciting the entire Quran in all seven ways, the teacher will grant the students Ijazah.
Ijazah is a certificate that the teacher authorises the students to recite and teach the Quran confidently.
The purpose of Ijazah is to establish the narration of the Quran through a chain of authorised transmitters going back to Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) then to the angel Jibraeel (upon him be peace) and then finally to the Almighty Allah S.W.T. In other words, an Ijazah is a symbol of merit from a qualified teacher to his student of being able to recite the Qur’an without mistakes and the eligibility to grant others Ijazah after evaluation of their recitation. This tradition makes it possible to transmit the Quran in its authenticity to future generations as it was revealed to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and to protect the Qur’an from any change and falsification.
*1st year*
Advanced Tajweed books, completion of Riwayat Hafs and Shubah, and completing the foundational (Usooli) rules of Qiraat Sabah.
*2nd year*
Completion of the entire Quran in all seven Qiraat, Shatbiyyah commonly known as

Fluent in Quran recitation
Good Tajweed
