Darul Ilm Birmingham’s Takhasus Fil Fiqh is in its third year and seeks to develop students beyond the 6 year Alim course with an additional 2 years in which they specialise in Islamic jurisprudence.
Graduates will study specialist books with qualified muftis who have many years of experience answering fatwahs. The main focus of this programme will be to give the students practice and experience of answering the day-to-day issues within the community.
By the end of the course, you will be proficient in conducting research and presenting answers from approved sources.
Students are also required to complete a 12,000-word dissertation on a particular topic to pass the course.
Who is this course for?
Students who have completed their Alim or Alimah studies and are interested in specializing in Fiqh and Fatwa.
Are there any prerequisites for the course?
Students need to have graduated as an Alim or Alimah from a reputable madrasah before starting this course.
Timings and Tuition Fees
Class timings are Saturdays and Sundays, 6-8 PM.
The tuition fees are 325 pounds per semester
There are three semesters in the year
