Hadith Specialisation Course

The Hadees specialisation course is designed to equip postgraduates with in-depth knowledge of the various sciences of Hadees. The
comprehensive course is delivered via weekly two and a half hour lectures over a three year period covering ten different sciences In-sha-Allah.

The subjects covered are:

السنة متون دراسة :A comprehensively study of the most famous narrations reported from the Prophet (PBUH) along with their authenticity covered.

الحديث تخريج :Students learn how to correctly locate Ahaadeeth using traditional and modern methods.

الأسانيد دراسة :The Students are taught the principles of verification of Ahaadeeth, both in theory and in practice. The students are also
familiarised with the books of narrators along with the methodologies of their respected authors.

المكثرين الحديث رواة معرفة : The students are acquainted with the most common narrators of Hadees which are often found in the chains of
narrations.

الحديث مصطلح :The Hadith Terminology is covered in slightly more detail than in most traditional courses.

المحدثين مناهج :The methodologies of most of the original Hadith collections ( around thirty) is covered and the students are familiarised
with the positives and the negatives of each collection.

الحديث علل :The study of various hidden defects present in reported narrations is carried out in-depth.

الحديث مشكل :The objections made against the authority, as well as authenticity of the Hadith collection are replied to. Likewise a study of
the most contentions Ahaadeeth of our time is carried out.

السنة متون نقد :The students are familiarised with the principles governing the critical analysis of the Ahaadeeth texts.

الحديث مختلف :The students cover the various methods of reconciling apparently contradicting Ahaadeeth, along with a detailed study of
many Ahaadeeth which fall under this science

Timings and Tuition Fees

*Starting on Tuesday 5th September 2023*

7.30 pm-9.30 pm every Tuesday

The tuition fees are £300 per semester

There are three semesters in the year
